Combatting ASB: Strategies, Partnerships, and Solutions
To guide the national strategy to stamp out Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), the Government published the Anti-Social Behaviour Action Plan in May 2023 followed by the Crime and Policing Bill in February 2025 that supports the Government’s Safer Streets Mission giving the police and others stronger powers to tackle antisocial behaviour but introducing respect orders, remove the need for police to issue a warning before seizing vehicles being used antisocially, and strengthening the use of existing antisocial behaviour powers.
